Welcome, we are a British family owned Food & Gift shop specializing in goods from the British and Emerald Isles based in sunny San Diego, California, we also have a Tearoom on our patio and an English Bakery.

Our tearoom hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Noon last sitting at 2pm, Thursday and Friday Noon last sitting at 4.00 pm. At the weekends we have two sittings one at Noon and the other at 2.30 pm.

Reservations are required for all afternoon tea bookings with 24 hours notice please, for our cream tea customers we can take reservations on the day only.

LARGE GROUPS: Our attached covered patio can accommodate upto 15 guests but we have an area we rent which is directly behind our shoppe and we can take upto 35 guests there. Our charge per person for this area is $26.95 to cover the room rental, if you book for 20 people and the group drops to 15 people the price would go down to our regular tea price of $21.95 per head.  This area is great for Baby Showers, Bridal Showers etc. as we set up a present table and we only cater for one group at a time so you will have our undivided attention. We give a 2 1/2 hour time slot to allow for games and present opening,  this area is only available for our Noon sitting and we ask that you come in at 11.30 to allow for the extra time for your guests.

We require final numbers for all groups over ten 72 hours prior. All other reservations must inform us of any changes to their reservation by 8pm the night before otherwise there will be a $10.00 charge for each person that does not show. We ask for your understanding on this as we are a small tearoom and hold your table for you may be turning other guests away.

Selina who hails from Surrey in England and her staff will make your day as memorable as one could wish for. Using recipes and tips handed down to her by her beloved Grandma, Lucy, Selina stays true to an authentic English Afternoon Tea.  Amazing scones made there in her shoppe are topped of with imported Clotted Cream and imported jams, love the Scones you can buy them fresh baked or they have a “Take and Bake” option where they have over 10 different flavors of scones for you to serve fresh and piping hot to your guests. Love the tea all of our tearoom teas are available for purchase in our shoppe along with our “Tea sniffing bar” our tea educated staff can help you with any questions you might have. Also in our shoppe we sell everything you need to make that perfect pot of tea from teapots, silverware, tea strainers, wonder at our amazing inventory.
